HISTORY OF EUROSMC

EUROSMC, S.A. was founded in 1986 with the objective to design, manufacture, and market a range of Electronic Equipment for Electrical Testing, mainly in Protection Relay Field and in general, test equipment related to the commissioning and maintenance in Substations and power plants.

Since the company was founded, EUROSMC, S.A. has had a continuous political policy in developing and producing our own products. In this way guaranteeing our customers the maximum quality and service, technically and in application questions.

In 1992 EUROSMC presented the PTE (Portable Test Equipment) Relay test equipment Range. This range was designed with strict criteria of being modular and portable, using the most modern technology. With the success of the PTE Range of equipment, EUROSMC began to export, in diverse markets and products, which is now the base of the company evident in our actual export sales, now 95% of our total turnover.

In 1994, EUROSMC moved to our present location in Collado Villalba, 38 Km. NW of Madrid, the Capital City of Spain, where our Central office, production, and Research & Development department are all located. At the same time implanting the ISO-9000 Certificate.

In 1995 and 1999 EuroSMC is awarded by the Madrid Chamber of Commerce for its export achievements during these years.

In 2003 EuroSMC presented its PME (Portable Measurement Range) equipment for substation maintenance and gained international prestige with the innovative Circuit breaker analyzer; model PME-500-TR.

In 2006 EuroSMC presented the ultimate equipment in Relay Testing, the MENTOR, which incorporates the leading edge technology in its design and concept.

EUROSMC WORLD MARKETS PRESENCE

Presently, EUROSMC has a strong presence on the World Market, with 45 Representatives and Distributors worldwide. EuroSMC has a office in Bogata, Colombia which handles sales and support of our products in Central and South America. The branch office, NoramSMC Inc., attends the North American Market. EUROSMC products can be found and are used in more than 75 countries.

The Madrid Chamber of Commerce has award EUROSMC for its outstanding and dynamic Export Achievements, in 1995 and 1999.
