The PME-500-TR is as a simple and fast operating equipment for the maintenance and commissioning in testing medium and high voltage breakers. The PME-500-TR is an extraordinary advance in the present concept of circuit breaker test equipment as it improves testing productivity in the time saved and the elimination of errors.
The display is also the control interface of the unit as it is a Touch Screen Panel. This enables to transform the display in the most convenient control panel for each function or test. It also displays the results in graphic and numerical format. A thermal printer has been built in so that the test results can be immediately printed.
It is possible to measure the contact resistance of each main pole automatically, with a test current of 10 A, and a resolution of 0.1µW. The PME-500-TR unit is also supplied with rechargeable batteries with autonomy of 10 hours and can function as well with an external voltage supply.
APPLICATIONS
- Simultaneous opening and/or closing time measurement up to 3 main contacts and 2 auxiliary contacts, including pre-insertion resistors (if required)
- Evaluates the synchronism between the circuit breaker poles
* Calculation of maximum currents in the coils and both opening and closing times simultaneously
- Evaluates the state and the condition of the substation batteries by graphically showing the coil consumption
- Immediately displays and prints test settings and results both numerically and graphically.

- 3 Timing contact measurement inputs with a 0.1ms resolution for the three main contacts
- 2 Isolated auxiliary binary inputs, with 0.1ms resolution and a capacity to work with dry contacts or voltage signals (from 5 to 300 V).
